Very nice place to hike around. Nice gift shop. Would've taken the cave boat tour if I'd have had more time.
Cove Spring is a wonderful place to go to hear nature in all its glory. Take beautiful pictures, go for an amazing hike or grill out with family and friends. There's even a pavilion. It's so peaceful with waterfalls, a babbling creek, woods, challenging hills, a field (think Frisbee or soccer or just soaking up some ray's), flowers and lot's of wildlife. Even if it looks like there are a lot of cars there it's not crowded. Sure during peak hours you pass friendly smiling people as you walk around but it's quiet and definitely not over crowded. Our dog's love this place too! Don't forget there is an upper and lower park. The upper park has beautiful view's and more running space and playground for the young at heart. My favorite park in Frankfort.
A hidden treasure just on the north side of Frankfort. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy hacking Ingress portals.
Very beautiful well maintained Park. Beautiful water falls, nice and clean trails well marked. Perfect place to spend the day. If you love nature at its best, this is a must stop place. You won't be disappointed.
An excellent little gem in the heart of Frankfort. There are wonderful, varied hikes with rewarding views of Frankfort. The trails are well marked and well maintained. I took my 5 yo and 2 yo and all were well pleased and appropriately challenged. Of course, this isn’t Red River Gorge but it is a place close by to get outside.
